Who Can Enter?

Any couple getting married in 2013. You can nominate a couple you know or yourself!

Then be sure to tell me why you, or your nomination, deserve complimentary wedding day coverage.

How do I enter?

Email me at GIVEAWAY@brittanygerth.com and tell us your amazing story and why you feel you should be picked. Be sure to also include the following info:
• Your name and Email
• Bride & Grooms Name & Email
• Engagement Date
• Wedding Date

Deadline is February 15th and the winners will be announced February 20th.

One lucky couple will receive*:
• Complimentary 8-hour wedding day coverage (an $1850 value!)
• All prints, albums, image disc, and products can be purchased a la carte.

All entrants will receive $500 gift certificate for any Brittany Gerth Photography wedding collection.
You are more than welcome to do a submission for yourself or nominate friends or family members who are getting married. Local and Destination Weddings are welcome.

*a $500 non-refundable retainer is required to book the winners wedding date. This will be applied towards their product order.

Happy 1 year anniversary! A year ago this month I started my wedding photography business. Thank you to all of my wonderful brides and clients – 2010 & 2011 have been so amazing!

To celebrate I decided to do a giveaway! One lucky Facebook follower will win one set of 5×7 Christmas Greeting Cards (25 cards) with one of their photos! Just in time for the holiday season!  A $50 value, totally free!!

Card will be one sided and printed on metallic photographic paper with your choice on 1 of the following designs shown below (colors can be changed).

Marya and Michael were nominated by Marya’s sister Alaina:
I would like to nominate my sister and her fiancee Michael for the photo giveaway. My sister is one of the most generous caring people I know. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone around her is having a good time and is happy, even if it is at her own expense. Michael is definitely a character in so many great ways and he loves my sister with all his heart. Not only do I think Marya and Michael deserve and would greatly appreciate winning this contest but I think their wedding would be very fun and interesting to shoot. They both have very fun, playful, and easy going personalities. Marya is a full time nursing student and works in an elderly care facility and Michael is a full time business student and manages a company that sells Direct TV. They are getting married at Edna Valley Vineyard on June 25th, 2011 and do not have a photographer yet. We are from Southern California and I know she is feeling so overwhelmed trying to decide on vendors due to the distance and the fact that she is always busy. I know they would both appreciate winning as much as I appreciate them.

I would like to Nominate my best friends Erin Peterson and Scott McCormick for the Wedding Photo Giveaway!  Erin and I have been friends for as long as I can remember.  She is the most amazing person I know.  We have been through everything together.  Always the each others strength and shoulder to cry on to get through the bad and always there to celebrate the good!  She isn’t just my best friend, she is the sister I never had.  Four years ago she met Scott, they hit it off instantly and I knew he was the perfect guy for her.  They dated, fell in love and are getting married!  They are made for each other.  Most people talk about the fairy tale love bubble that we see in the movies, but in life that isn’t what makes a couple last.  Erin and Scott are the real deal, they are partners in life and compliment each other so well.  I couldn’t be happier that she found someone that makes her truly happy and wants to spend the rest of her life with; and I am lucky enough that she has asked me to be her maid of honor.  Scott is an great man, we instantly clicked and I consider him family.  Erin has always put her family and friends first in her life, she is so generous and supportive.  As we know, weddings are expensive, and its very important for Erin and Scott to have their closest friends and family present at their big day.  In this day with this economy we are all operating on a tighter budget and I don’t think anyone should have to compromise on their day.  I can’t think of a greater way to celebrate their big day then to capture the love they have and celebrating their life time commitment to one another.  I cannot think of anyone more deserving of winning this then Erin & Scott.

This is the first year for my giveaway – so in a sense it is the ‘experimental’ year. When I decided to have a giveaway I originally thought I would read the entries and choose the two stories that won me over. But as the entries came streaming in (nearly daily!) I realized that I would have a very hard time choosing. So many great stories on why each couple thought they should win. Then I thought I would just have people vote on my blog for the winner – but I didn’t think about that until half way through the submission phase so that wouldn’t work – maybe next year. So in the end I have decided to randomly draw each winner.

Winners will be announced today, Sunday 1/16/11 at 3pm PST! Good luck everyone!
